What is Active Citizens?

A friendly group for people who want to have their voice heard and be part of their community.

Active Citizens supports members to build confidence, learn new skills and get involved in local issues that matter to them.

📍 Venue – Scout Hut, Eastleigh – Headquarters – 1st Eastleigh Scout Group

đź•’ Day & Time – Every Tuesday 10am – 2pm

👥 Who is it for?

Adults with a learning disability who are interested in their community and want to build confidence and independence.

Cost – £9.00 per session

What we do

At Active Citizens, members come together to share ideas, learn new things and take part in their community. This might include meeting local leaders, visiting places of interest or discussing topics that matter to the group. Everyone is encouraged to take part in a way that feels comfortable.

What you’ll gain

This group helps build confidence, independence and communication skills, while also creating opportunities to make friends and feel more connected to the local community.
